20 Colorful Steamed Egg

20 COLORFUL STEAMED EGG

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp of peas
  • 1 Tbsp of carrot, finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp of mushrooms, finely diced
  • 1/3 cup of soft tofu, cut into small pieces
  • Hot water in an amount equal to that of the beaten eggs
  • A pinch of salt
  • A dash of sesame oil (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1
Add the beaten eggs to the hot water and mix well. Then add the rest of the ingredients and continue mixing. Pour the resulting mixture into a container that you can put in a steamer.
Step 2
Place the steamer on top of the stove. Add water to the lowest portion. When the water starts to boil, place the dish with egg mixture in it inside the steamer and cover. Cook over medium heat for 7-15 minutes, until the surface of the egg is smooth and egg is firm all the way through. While steaming, make sure to leave the lid of the steamer cracked so the steam can escape; otherwise the surface of the egg will become cracked.
