72 Stir-fried Vegetables in a Sesame Pocket * * *

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup total of red, yellow, and green Bell peppers, julienned
  • 1/2 cup of onion, julienned
  • 1/3 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • A dash of soy sauce
  • A dash of vegetable oil
  • A pinch of sugar
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 1-2 pieces of Chinese sesame bread, cut in half (can substitute pita bread)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1
Cut up all of the vegetables and set them aside.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add only the onions first and stir-fry until they are translucent.
Step 3
Next add the Bell peppers and stir-fry. Then mix in the slices of mushroom. Finally add the remaining seasonings and stir-fry everything together.
Step 4
While you are stir-frying the vegetables, toast the sesame bread in a toaster oven, then remove. Put the cooked vegetables in between the bread and serve.
