90 Snow Fungus and Papaya Soup
This soup makes a very good dessert and is especially good for your skin.
INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 cups of snow fungus, about 2-3 pieces
- 2 cups of papaya
- Rock or brown sugar, to taste
- 6-8 cups water
DIRECTIONS

Soak the snow fungus in water for 2-3 hours until soft. Remove from the water. Cut off and discard roots. Use your hand to tear the fungus into several large chunks. Put the pieces in a large pot and add the water. Cook over high heat until the water begins to boil. Then turn the heat down to medium and slowly simmer the contents. | |

Peel the papaya and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Set aside. | |

After the snow fungus soup has simmered for an hour, add the papaya and sugar. Cover with a lid and cook together over low heat until the snow fungus is thoroughly cooked and soft all the way through. Then serve. |
