324 Sautéed Corn and Red Pepper with Basil

INGREDIENTS (1-2 servings)

  • 2-3 ears of corn; break into thirds, boil, and cut the kernels from the cob
  • 1 cup of red Bell pepper or chili pepper, cut into large chunks
  • A pinch of fresh basil
  • A dash of soy sauce
  • A dash of rice wine
  • A pinch of sugar
  • A dash of cooking oil
  • A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

Step 1
Combine the soy sauce, rice wine, and sugar in a small bowl and set aside. These are your seasonings.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan and stir fry the pepper. Then stir in the corn.
Step 3
Next add the seasonings from Step 1 and salt. Stir everything together until it’s evenly distributed.
Step 4
Turn the heat up to high and add the basil. Stir fry until the seasonings thicken and evenly coat everything, then serve.
